Armorer

Armorer is a medieval-themed crafting game where the player assumes the role of a blacksmith, struck by divine fate after an encounter with the god of the forge. Armed with a powerful hammer, players craft armor, weapons, and tools through a series of progressively complex mini games. The gameplay revolves around managing a blacksmithing shop, fulfilling contracts, and outfitting adventurers and mercenaries with specialized gear.Players can expand their shop, accept both individual and bulk orders, and ultimately rise to become the kingdom's chief outfitter. As the game progresses, blacksmithing techniques become more advanced, and players unlock the ability to skip certain tasks based on proficiency. Additionally, the game introduces a world map where players can send hired mercenaries or adventurers to gather rare resources for crafting.The narrative follows the player's journey from a small-town blacksmith to an esteemed craftsman in the capital, interacting with magistrates, customers, and adventurers along the way. The game features retro pixel art, with a focus on medieval aesthetics, including a grungy, period-appropriate environment and themed mini-games. The audio consists of ambient medieval and fantasy music, along with sound effects for blacksmithing activities and general shop ambiance.Built in Unity, the game presents challenges in programming various mini-games and generating contracts. With both a story mode and standalone mini-games, Armorer is designed for fans of pixel art, fantasy, and immersive crafting systems.
